Ask Chandra why she officiates weddings, and her answer is immediate: “Love, baby!”

As a Senior Associate who has officiated more than 100 ceremonies, Chandra still considers it an extraordinary honor to stand beside a couple on such an important day. Her bright smile, genuine enthusiasm, and natural ability to help people open up quickly put couples at ease.

Chandra especially loves working with couples who bring their individual personalities and ideas into the planning process. She wants every ceremony to help family and friends understand not only that a couple loves one another, but why they have chosen to build a life together. Once Chandra marries someone, they will always be one of “her couples.”

Around her 50th birthday, Chandra decided to become the most interesting version of herself. Officiating became her jam, followed closely by sewing and garment-making—which may now qualify as a joyful obsession. Her humor lands somewhere between British wit and a perfectly timed Southern “bless her heart.”

As the mother of four sons, Chandra freely admits that a crying groom—or two crying grooms—may get her teary, too. Although she is naturally shy about being the center of attention, officiating feels different: the couple holds the spotlight, while she gets the best seat in the house
